my room had navy blue walls. a cute victorian fireplace was a feature. the super comfortable bed ensured i had a restful sleep.
the stairs to the rooms had an unpleasant smell, most likely from worn carpets. the carpet in the room needed a good clean. i noticed marks in certain areas.

The location is convenient for accessing the town's shops and bars. a car park is only two minutes away. It allows parking for 24 hours with the option to extend. the train station is also nearby.

Really good Hotel Experience
cozy rooms soft bed fine view
I appreciated the bed and breakfast option during a short stay with my family. The rooms are warm and cozy offering a great retreat after a busy day of sightseeing. The soft beds and satisfactory bedding ensured restful nights for everyone. The view from the rooms overlooking the castle and cathedral was AMAZING!!!
The stairs were narrow and there was no lift, which could pose a challenge with mobility issues.

The bartender, barista, and waiter, Ben, provided excellent service. He remained attentive, smiling, and willing to assist. He. His attentiveness really stood out.

The breakfast service delivered perfectly cooked poached eggs and featured a delicious selection of dishes. The bar area had a lovely layout plus cozy chairs. The way the bar is arranged is really special.

The room included quality toiletries. Fluffy towels were readily available. A selection of chocolate and savoury snacks was provided for consumption with later payment. The late checkout time of 10:30 was standard and very welcome.

the bed was comfortable the room was well appointed and equipped the location is great near the west gate the greeting and check in was good i found the pub cosy i enjoyed the decor in the rooms
quiz nights can be really loud that is a shame because the rooms are lovely and they allow my dog
